Why Donate?

Many community members and organisations today recognise the value of investing in the future of our beautiful region.  Everything we do has some impact on our natural environment.  Most human economic activity uses natural resources and our communities rely on the natural environment for our standard of living.
The Tom Farrell Institute for the Environment offers a unique opportunity for organisations and individuals to make a substantial and visible difference to the environment and community through philanthropy, donations, gifts and bequests.
Your gift can provide opportunities for young Australians and is an investment in the future of our region.

How your donation helps

Ensuring the continuance and development of the Tom Farrell Institute and its environmental programs requires significant ongoing funding.  We highly value and appreciate all donations, large and small.  Donations help the Institute continue its research and develop sustainable management solutions and innovative technologies to protect our environment, conserve its biodiversity and ensure its existence for future generations.
Your donation will help support and develop the following essential programs and activities:
  • research and community partnerships environmental projects program
  • public forums, conferences and awareness activities
  • implementation of TFI scholarships
  • scientific meetings and workshops
  • facilitation of debate and influence for change in our region and beyond
