West to East Little Planet Views along the Approved Richmond Vale Rail Trail (RVRT) Route – October 2025

Our good friend Bill Landenberger has literally produced hundreds of spherical panoramas during the past few years, which can be accessed from his 360 cities account (https://www.360cities.net/profile/landy42). Many of these panoramas were taken along the former Richmond Vale Railway corridor, which provides the core route for the proposed RVRT, together with the former water pipeline corridor from Tarro to Shortland.
 
We have selected 26 of Bill’s panoramas and extracted a single image (Screenshot) from each one, grouped from West to East into two blocks (Block A:  Kurri Kurri to Tunnel No. 2; and Block B:  Tunnel No. 2 to Shortland).
 
You can download a separate PDF file for each block, which also provides further details about the individual images (e.g., location, date taken, 360 cities links) together with an overall Location Map.

Collectively, these images showcase the natural beauty of the conservation areas and reserves through which the RVRT will run, together with all of the iconic features that visitors typically look forward to when they visit rail trails (e.g., tunnels, bridges, cuttings, embankments, creeks and heritage items).
